I added an account, and the search box works for it. In fact information technology works for all the other accounts on my machine. The difference is that my business relationship is the simply login fastened to a Microsoft account, while the other ones are all local. Maybe that'due south role of the problem?

I have this exact same problem and I have tried every potential remedy I can notice out thee on the spider web.

I besides tried removing the connection to my Microsoft account just to be sure that was not the trouble.
